Do you fly our Flag when camping? Your method
I fly Old Glory 24/7 at home weather permitting. Just curious if you fly Old Glory and how you do it when camped. What type of mount, something clamped to coach ladder. I have seen the ones where you roll under a wheel and the there is a mast that extends up.
Thanks
JJ

I have one of those that I got from etrailor. I used it when I had a TT. Now that I have a Class C, I'm going to order the hitch mount holder and use the hitch receiver that's in the back.

Mine has a long wire attached to each eye, if I am near a tree, it goes there, or on the clothes line if I put one up.

I use a little tripod that goes in the driveway of the campsite. It has a small LED light attached to the bottom that shines up on the flag at night. Nice to look at out the front window. U.S. Flags flown at night are suppose to be lighted. We also have a huge flag pole (2 sections of top rail) wire-tied to ladder at race weekend. Old Glory is at top, Old Georgia Flag underneath it and racing flags in order of "who's winning" go below. Helps our friends find us through the week at the track. I also have a light that shines towards the top at night.

Forgot to mention, we also attach ours to the rear ladder,--i just bought a thor super c and the ladder is "loose", not like the other rv's we have had, i plan on tighten up screws in the spring--any other owners have the same problem?

No problems here...where is it loose? They told me at the factory that the ladder is actually screwed from the outside into the aluminum internal framing of the coach. Do you have loose screws, is it loose where the ladder connects to the horizontal struts or what?

the whole unit is loose, not a whole lot, but enough. i tightened the screws a little but didn't want to over-tighten--was going to call the factory to see if they torque them to a certain spec--we didn't want to start flying the flag with it attached if the ladder was loose

Several of the mounts on my Aria 4000 are loose as well. It's the screw that goes from the mounting plate to the "rear" of the standoff that's loose. While driving, I actually had the two bottom ones come all the way dislodged so the ladder was just rattling around back there. You have to take the four screws out of the mounting plate and spin that plate around to tighten the standoff screw, then realign the plate and re-mount it. I only did the two bottom ones out of necessity, but there are two or three in the middle which are also a little wobbly, and one the temps go up a bit, I'll spend the time on those.
HalfPrice - What's that swanky mount you have on your ladder?

BTW, I also sometimes fly the, controversial, Confederate battle flag.
Then, sometimes an even more controversial blue one that says Trump on it, it just depends on where I am.
Am I showing my crudeness again?

We use the flag pole buddy 22' aluminum with flag light at top. Google it. Several places sell them. Mounts to ladder and pole extends from 4' to 22'. Great setup
