The Pedestal is the spot where the RV Park has it's electrical hook-ups for each site. The Main Breaker is on the Pedestal, and is used to shut down the power supply.

I turn off the pedestal breaker before I plug in if not off already. We never have the hot water heater, ac or other large loads on in the RV but I do not turn off the RV breakers.

Ok thanks to this thread I have a 30 Amp and 50 Amp Camco circuit analyzer and surge protector. I also now have an inline water filter. Might be overkill but the inexperienced are prone to folly. Lol
