Fan switch

The first two speeds on my climate control switch do not work the third and fourth do, when I put those on then I can go back to one and two in those speeds work. Anybody have an idea what’s happening, or have had this experience. Thank you

My guess is the switch itself and need a new one before none work.

It's possible that there is a resistor in line with the switch that has gone bad.

Thanks guys, I figured it out. The motor needed oil on the shaft and at low speed‘s it wouldn’t go on, the third speed would kick it on. I took the motor out oiled the shaft and so far no more problems. I looked this up and it appears to be a problem with this motor.
