Fe22 saves the night.

We live in Raleigh, NC. We keep our RV plugged in behind our house so we can keep a small electric heater running to keep everything above 35 degrees.
My husband had major surgery Wednesday, before the snow fall. We were released Thursday to go home. Thursday night our whole area lost power, and he was not able to hook up the generator to power our house and I don't even know how. So I cranked up the RV, and generator to run the gas heater. We had coffee, tv, heat, and a great bed. We didn't want to go back into the house even when the power car back on the next day. We can't wait till we can hit the road again.

Perfect scenario for using the motorhome for a nice warm place to hangout (live) until the power comes back on! We are fortunate to be able to keep our MH on site as well.

Rhonda, We are outside of Zebulon in Franklin County. We keep ours plugged up and attached to the house LP gas tank. We are running one 1500 watt heater. We had to go in ours about 2 months ago because of power outage. Right now I am afraid that I would end up on the couch as the dense foam mattress probably won't warm much in a hurry.

I know you can't plan for power outages, but if you need something let me know if I can help. If you want my info, PM me. I am also on IRV with the same name.
