All is not lost. Call Villa International

We had the same problem with the drivers captain chair. I spent me with the regional Thor Rep and he said to call Villa International. I spoke with one of the customer service employees and he said they would file a clamp with the material manufacturer. The are sending me a new upholstery set and $300 for installation. I can live with that.

My 2014 Palazzo seats all started flaking and cracking last year. Not sure of what remedy I will try.

Our jack knife couch never sees the sun so I hope we dont have this problem. However I am going to file Villa International info away just in case.

Thanks Brian8761 for that info.

2014 Hurricane seats peeling

Mine began to show the peeling about a year ago and getting worse. I ordered seat covers from Camping World - the largest I could find online but they were still too tight so returned them. Looks like custom made covers or reuphostering in the only option. Both expensive. I am tired of spending money to replace items that should have lasted much longer! Just the normal upkeep is bad enough.

2018 Aria Seats/Leatherette Peeling/Tears

We purchased a 2018 Aria in April and found multiple peelings on the sofa, seats, recliners, dining bench and console. Some parts were replaced and also found to have peelings. There was also a tear in the sofa bed. The fabric is not durable. We are disappointed that an expensive coach has poor coverings. We found these issues before using the RV. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

That's horrible. I can't believe it happened on a 2018. Makes me think they still don't care about their quality..........

2012

Our 2012 had exactly the same problem, since the warranty is long gone, we just replaced the covers.

We had some problems with all the furniture in 33.2. We tried to find the manufacturer of the furniture Flair they went out of business. We took to a reupholster in League City, TX. They did a fine job and added more padding in the booth cushions. We are very pleased with their work.

Seat Covers

Has anyone been able to find a seat cover for the Thor Drivers and Passenger seats from Villa International. I have all ready ordered 3 different ones and none of them fit.

Greetings and Welcome

I'm going to guess you have a class A, looks like that's all "Villa International" make.

A little more info might help, year make and model.

Have you contacted them? Take lots of pictures and measurements, there should be a tag on/under the seat base, a picture of the tag will also help.

Good luck, update and let us know how you're doing

We bought a 2019 Aria in late 2020 that was a leftover so technically NEW and under warranty.

First thing we saw when we visited the dealer to see it was that the leather had peeled on the cab seats and the dinette. So at least up to 2019 is affected.

Dealer agreed to fix but could not guarantee that the material would be better. We opted to pay 5K to get of the furniture upgraded to marine quality (from a local upholsterer) and dealer got a $1,500 credit from Thor.

There's a long chain of posts on this problem and the bottom line seems to be - Thor might do a little while you are under warranty but will do nothing if not.

But to the last question - I don't know if years 2020 and beyond are any better.

We are having the same problem with our 2018 Thor Wind sport jack knife sofa looks like a shredder drove across it. We will probably replace it with theater seating.

Sorry to hear about the visit from the shredder...
But Welcome to the Forum anyway!

Had our front seats re-upholstered in marine grade vinyl. The sofa and dinette have not started peeling yet but I just received my power recliners from RecPro to replace the sofa. I'm debating on taking out the dinette and going with chairs.
