Seeking people w experience using FMCA vs Coach.Net

Hi, all:

I've got the roadside insurance possibilities down to CoachNet and Family Motorcoach Ass. Roadside Assistance through SafeRide.

1. Does any company cover non-roadside events, such as slide won't go in at a campground or a parking lot?

2. What has been your experience with either? Would you recommend or shout at me to never deal with one or the other?

Thanks in advance. This forum helps us so much.

We had CoachNet (it came with our purchase) but when it came time to renew, it was over $250 so we looked at other options. We ended up (as FMCA members) going with the FMCA road side plan. Hope we never need it, but it seems to cover everything CoachNet (and GoodSam) do.

Our previous experience with GoodSam and our old RV was a bit shaky - they couldn't send a tow and could only point us to the nearest tire shop. That wasn't very useful, so we ditched them.

Only time will tell if the FMCA/SafeRide plan is a keeper.
