Fresh Water Tank Draining

Any advice, recommendations on how to fully drain the fresh water tank on a 2017 Vegas. Just finished sanitizing process and trying to drain tank ( very slow). Thanks in advance.

I’m guessing that you are draining the tank by useing the low point drain tubes. You can always use the kitchen faucet to help speed it up. Since it is clean water I attached a garden hose to my gray tank drain and let it drain to the street.

Open the valve. Take the cap off for better venting, and take the rig out for about a 50 mile tour of the countryside.

My fresh water drain is incredibly slow also. I can't see the outlet under the rig but the water dribbles out around the gas tank. I'd have to drop the tank to get to what I guess is a kinked hose. So I used the outside shower from the pump.
Thor wanth more.

Thanks all for the replies. I did finally use the outside shower and ran the pump. Still didn’t empty the tank but close enough.

Speaking of freshwater tanks: how much Clorox do you add per gallon; when you're trying to clean things up a bit?

Bob, I used a quarter cup per 15 gals. A little over a half cup for my 39 gal tank.

my 25-2 drains fast just by opening the tank drain valve and it drains all the water out.

Our 24.1 drains slow. The only time it is ever completely empty is when I leave the valve open over winter.

Thanks! I figured it would be best to check, before starting the process.

40 gallons: 10.66 ounces.

My 25.4 vegas also drains slow, this is due to a 1/4 turn drain valve (same valve used for household toilet water supply shut off) I will be replacing it with a full port ball valve when warranty is over.
