front end wear
This is just an FYI for you guys Just got my @)!* Thor Chateau 31W back from the alignment shop. I noticed on my last trip that my left front tire seemed to be wearing out on the inside edge. Since the rig was due for an oil change anyway, I asked the dealer to check the alignment. when I picked up the rig, Dealer said their alignment equipment wasn't big enough to take on my motor home, and they'd recommend Champion Alignment in Elgin, Illinois.
I went to Champion, who did an alignment check, and told me that alignment was so far out that it was dangerous to drive ( camber out 7/16 inch plus, and horribly pigeon-toed, my words) . they did an alignment to commercial specs, and had to replace both front tires, using B.F. Goodrich radial TA's, since they wouldn't recommend Hankook's. Everything works great, now, but I really hate to be out the nearly $800 it cost me. I'm kinda ticked at both Ford and Thor for doing a lousy job of setup on the chassis.

Sorry to hear about this. How does it drive now?
At least its safe and done right... hopefully you wont have to mess with the tires and front end for years to come.

I noticed you said it was in for a oil change, tire replacement and front end alignment is also part of routine maintenance. Did you have the alignment checked after you loaded and weighed the coach when you purchased it? Tough lesson, but if you had, you may have avoided this cost.

Hi, Lt Keefer: No, i did not check alignment after picking up my new MH, guess I trusted ford and Thor a little too much. Live and learn, I guess. Coach drives just fine now, although I did not notice much wrong before. Just saw the tire wear when checking tire pressures.

Alignment places, like many mechanics, are often self grandiosizing.
There is no reason to not recommend Hankook and the 7/16ths may not be out of the realm or it might be exaggerated.
I guess now you have mismatched tires front and back?
Did they do a rotate while they were at it all?
The oil change dealer didn't know in advance his equipment wasn't capable?
Lotsa questions outstanding....
