If the connection is AT the tank (in the 6 inches or so between the pipe exiting the tank and entering the regulator - then it is high pressure and needs a regulator on the device. This is where devices like Extend-a-stay install.
If it is anyplace else, it will be already regulated, and need to bypass the regulator on the appliance.

Since we share our RV mods and tips, here's one for the Blackstone. My tray with cutout handles for my utensils, IR gun, meat thermometer and liquids. I usually put my food on it and a couple of sizes of aluminum pans. One trip out to the griddle, cook, one trip back loaded.

My DW doesn't even cook veggies in the coach. This coach and the prior rig have never had the LP stove used for anything. If the weather is too bad for outdoor grilling its sandwiches or chili that was made and frozen before the trip began.

Here I thought I had everything I needed for RVing then I started reading this post. Of course I had to have a Blackstone too so I went and bought one. So glad I did. Got the conversion hose and hooked it up to a 20 lb tank on the deck next to the BBQ grill. Now I can cook more food faster and breakfast is so easy on the griddle. Bacon & eggs, Burgers, dogs, blackened steak, fried rice, stir fried vegetables and next I'm gonna try grilled cheese. Wish I would have bought one last year.

I did French toast and sausages this morning. I don’t think I have seen a negative post concerning griddles . Now when we go shopping 🛒 we discuss what will be best on the griddle. I say anything but oatmeal and soup.

Now if the grease trap were larger: soup might be an option...

Just got the 28" and love it. Got it more for home than to take with on trips, might pick up the small one for that. We have our own camping property on a local river so it will go there also, we usually spend 3 or 4 days at a time there. Had a party for friends there last weekend and cooked 15 nice hamburgers at once and still had room on the griddle for more.
I am glad I just now bought one because I got the new model with the grease trap in the back. From what I read the only negative was the front grease trough that sometimes let grease run down the front leg. Took some moving around to get it level at the campgrounds where it is just grass but not bad. Jim.

Got a Blackstone Tailgater at CW today. Used my Good Sam card for the GS discount and then had a coupon for 20% off. Final out the door including tax came to $169.
Now we need to get a portable bottle -- I'll probably do the 11 Lb bottle. Don't want to hook it to the bottle on the RV. By the way -- when we bought the Vegas new in 2015 the propane tank was full. It's still between 1/2 and 3/4.
After we get the bottle we'll season the griddle (the reason the wife wanted it in the first place). Even with the griddle and grill off the base, that's going to be a bear getting it in and out of the rear storage pass-through on the Vegas. I'm just an old coot with wobbly muscles.

I just bought a second 22” , this one with stand and cover $149 at Walmart. I got tired of bringing mine from RV to house and back again...

They can be a bit on the heavy side that's for sure.
I take mine apart to load it so I'm not trying to move all at once.
Remove the top griddle than hall the bottom than the griddle.
This makes it much more tolerable, still the griddle itself is heavy.
Good luck and safe travels
