Welcome to the forum, and how did you find this out?

Did you ever find out about why this happened? We just did our first trip in our 2019 Hurricane 34R, turned on the heat and the floor lifted. It went back flat and tight after the heat was turned off.

I did, my apologies, I thought I had updated the thread. The BLUF is that there should be a cutout under the couch and the linoleum was not cut... so, there is an obvious 4" hole you can feel under the flooring. Air comes through but has no where to go, so it pushes the flooring up and Thor doesn't glue the floor down.

It's at the shop for warranty work as we speak. Attached is a layout of the heating in my 2017 31E.

Sounds to me, and as stated by another, you have air from a duct somewhere diverting under the vinyl. Take an ice pick and stab little holes all over the vinyl, about an inch apart. The area of holes that release the most air is where the issue is. JUST KIDDING!!! You got a loose duct somewhere or a hose that isn't completely connected to a register somewhere.

Jimbo, call Thor and ask them to email you a PDF of the heat layout. Once I had that, it was easy to find where the mistake was...

I know this is an old post but my 2020 Thor Challenger does not have glue on the floor either. I was also told this is normal for Thor. Easier to repair things under the flooring and they don’t have to cut up the vinyl.

We bought a new 2019 Hurricane. It did the same thing. They had forgot to cut out the vent opening and didn't have all the duct work connected. The dealer went and cut our vinyl flooring. It ruined our floor. We have about 18" slice near the vent. Looks terrible.
