Hot water heater issues

Hey fellow RV people, have any of you had a problem with the water heater ? Mine is both electric and propane. Darn thing will only produce slightly warm water. This is while on shore power with either electric switch on or propane on or both. It really has never worked like I would think it should. Any ideas ? I have a 2017 Challenger 37lx. Thanks for the help.

Hot water heater issues

I also have a 2017 Challenger LX. Haven’t had any problems with the water heater. It usually provides plenty of hot water for one 5 to 10 minute shower. If I have the shower all the way to “hot”, the water is too hot to stand under. Usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes to re-heat for another shower. Works better on propane than it does on electricity.

Thanks. I had a repair tech come take a look at my water heater. Within two minutes he diagnosed the problem. A valve on the back of the water tank was in the wrong position. This is thanks to Camper World in Tulsa Oklahoma. Cost me $40 but the ol lady is much happier with a hot shower!

Yeah sounded like your cross over winterization valve was still open.
