How to access back of Seiki tv

Specifically the bedroom tv in the Axis 25.2. As far as I can tell it doesn't articulate!

I have a 2017 33.2 Palazzo and ours does not so I'd assume the Axis does not either.

How can you remove the tv? I see a couple of screws at the bottom but can't see anything other than that! There must be a way to remove the tv!

that bedroom tv is a beast to remove...Ron took it off once...when we were trying to hookup an hdmi...then realized, with the help of my cell phone camera, we could find the hookup without removing the tv from the wall...
in addition, Ron bought a new tv mount for the bedroom with an articulating arm...not installed yet....actually, that tv is too big for our bedroom...I would lobby for a smaller screen if we installed the new wall mount !!!

It makes no sense whatsoever to mount a tv in such a manner that you aren't able to access the ports!
Way to go Thor!

I asked this question when we bought our 2015 24.1 vegas. A member of this forum said it lifts up off the bracket. I think that worked. We wanted to plug in some headphones.

I removed my tv by removing the 2 screws at the bottom and slide the tv up to remove it. I installed a traditional mount and a larger tv. Much better.

VKB Be sure to find a way to lock down the articulating arm while under way. Some mounts have a lock position. The one I bought didn't so I used a velcro wrap to secure it for travel.

Not sure if this helps but on our Challenger there's a pin that releases the bottom of the TV and it swings out giving access to the ports.

If it's like ours..

We replaced all our Seiki's, so had to remove the rear one. If you take a bright light underneath you should see a single screw halfway up or so in the middle. That holds the TV in place. Remove it and lift the TV straight up. It slides off. Reverse the process to put back on. You will need a long skinny handle phillips head screwdriver. Fat handles just won't go in far enough.
Once we figured this out was easy--we have removed several times to add/check connections.
Hope this helps.

Om my 2016 24.1 vegas. There is one or two screws on the side. Once off. TV slides out.

on the Vegas 25.2 the
HDMI port is over the bed in the right hand cabinet. Along with a power outlet.

Ace 27.1 bedroom Seiki

I see the 2 screws on the bottom of the mount but have yet to find a skinny long handled screwdriver to remove the screws. but even if I get the screws out, there doesn't look like there is enough room to slide the tv up & off the mount because it is so high on the wall.

So I'm hoping someone can reassure me that I will be able to remove the TV once I unscrew the 2 phillips head screws I don't want to start a project that I can't finish LOL

I have a Vizio smart TV all set to replace the Seiki but if I can't get the seiki down i may have to move on to another project

Many thanks

Susan

I have the same type of issue with the retractable 40" LED Seiki TV in the kitchen of my ACE 30.3. There are HDMI and USB ports on the bottom panel on the back of the TV. It is very close to the wall and you can't really see to connect anything to the ports. First trip out I wanted to hook up my ROKU - it requires an HDMI connection and can be powered by plugging it into USB. Both connections are on the panel you can't see. Have to do everything by guess and feel. If anyone else has figured out a good way to deal with this, I would appreciate your assistance.
