Jensen jrv212t monitor

We have a Jensen jrv212 monitor in our 2013 Thor ACE 30.1 motorhome. When on the monitor has a bar across the top of the screen, which reduces the viewing window size. There does not seem to be any information regarding a command to hide the bar. We are wondering if anyone has found a command to hide the bar.

The answer to my own question was to touch the bar with one's finger and swish it to the side and it disappears out of site. Seems one must do this each time the monitor is turned on.
