The line worker that's disgruntled is another. Odds are, with any product...a bad apple will eventually get out (Lemon Laws were implemented for a reason)...it just wasn't your lucky day. Add a "me too" to your comments. Hazel, our Hurricane 31S was purchased from MHSRV three years ago. It has never been back to any dealer for warranted work, but twice to Iron Horse RV for crash repair. Thor supplied all the required body parts and decals promptly. The $11,000 of damage was repaired by Iron Horse in 15 days and than included paint. I still have the factory Harris batteries because the dealer and I kept them charged. The Motorcraft battery had to be replaced last week. I suspect the Texas and engine heat along with the Louisiana roads lead to its demise. All I can say is everything still works perfectly after three years, 27,000 miles and 176 nights in the coach. Thor Motorcoach build me a truly quality product.

We purchased a slightly used (6,000 miles) Windsport 27K. During the first 30 days, we found several problems that were addressed by the dealer. However, problems continued to show up after we were no longer covered by the 30 day warranty. I have corrected most problems, with the exception of the engine AC. At this point, I have lost faith in the RV and whenever we are on the road, I am very apprehensive about whether or not we will complete the trip without a major breakdown.

Don't give up metal man, take care of each issue as they come up, I have finally gotten to the point where most trips are either no problems found or just something minor, always take your tool kit. Good luck and safe travels.

Ever been to a doctor or dentist? Well, you too are not perfect and require regular maintenance to keep your "coach" running and it good shape!

That is a true statement. However, all of the failures I've experienced starting at 6,000 miles had nothing to do with lack of maintenance and all to do with poor quality control, poor design, and cheap components.

Some people have better teeth than others: My wife has but one cavity in her mouth, myself, on the other hand, have paid for many a dentist's boats/RVs/airplanes/etc. This is not for lack of maintenance...

It was never cleaned on the inside - dust and screws everywhere. We've had a number of minor problems - bathroom door had a huge gap between the door and the molding, front window seal loose and some window resin drip. Thor has been great at addressing the problems and getting them fixed quickly. We've put 6400 miles with multiple camping trips and everything has worked great. I've had to clean up the HDMI cables, tie down a few wires, tighten a few screws, etc. Seems if you're going to own a motor home you need to get comfortable fixing minor things.
We purchased a new Hurricane 35M this year too and found a few unexpected problems that were addressed by the dealer without a bunch of aggravating discussions. This is our 4th class A and our 2nd new one and so far we haven't experienced any difference in repairs. We found the higher end coaches of course had better fit and finish and a few more fun gadgets but we like the Hurricane and expect several years of fun RV'in
