As soon as I have keys in hand I will figure out how to get some pics on here. I am pulling some $$ from an investment account to make the payments more bearable. So as soon as the funds are transferred I'll be writing checks AGAIN.

We didn’t do quite as well negotiating as I’d have liked because it was on a specific used machine which reduced our leverage quite a lot. But I’m still happy we did it. Our 32 ft class A seems like a perfect match for us. Enjoy your travels.
Yeah so do we really "need" these things? We still love our little class C, but we are using it in ways we did not expect when we bought it. Little Rock to Orlando and back, Little Rock to Pittsburgh and back, Little Rock to Michigan...you get the picture. And we have taken off on some long weekends with no particular plans except to explore. Long trips and just rambling the countryside leads to lots of roadside parks, truck stops, and Harvest Hosts for sleeping. Will be much more simple in this...no need to extend the slide to get to the bed. More room for our spoiled dogs, too.

Not to mention you have the hydraulic levelers now. Thats a big help when setying up the campsite (or even in parking lots).

So "Fish" and Dear.... Can we say with the Class C RV you practiced "Catch and release"?

Now that you have a bigger on on your hook I bet you will keep it for a long while.

In the box of "tools" above the larger box that your text goes in...

The top line has a Paper Clip about five in from the right-hand side.
Click on that, and you can insert an image.
(It should take you to your Pictures in your computer...)
Pick what you want, and upload it.
You can then drag it over into your text box...

From a PC:
  • Go to the advanced editor
  • Click on "Manage Attachments" in "Additional Options"
  • Click one of the "Choose file" buttons, select picture
  • Repeat (up to four pictures at a time) with the additional "Choose File" buttons
  • Click "Upload"
  • Go back to your post and click on the paper clip at the top--the drop down menu from there should now have your images
  • Select one of the images to insert it into the post
  • Repeat for all images
  • Press "Preview Post" to make sure everything looks ok
  • Press "Submit Reply" to post your post

Perhaps the problem isn't that it's a Class C instead of a Class A, but rather that it's a small motorhome. Hubby and I own a Chateau 35SF and we do not lack for storage or space.

So...if I buy a rig for $100k that's what I pay tax on. If my trade is valued at $60k I pay tax on $40k. In that example I would need to get a minimum of $5k more than the true trade value. Not that this isn't possible, but how much time and hassle would it take to achieve that difference?
Let the dealership handle the transaction of your personal sale and get the tax benefit.

I went from a 35' TT to a 35' 5er to a 40' Class A. Now picking up our 4th 5er after getting rid of the Class A. Wife says if we have to go back to a Class A she is not going.

I would be interested when you get settled it, giving a ride comparison.
I don't think I could ever go back to a class c. The 180 degree view is now the deal breaker for us. Super Nice Looking Rig!

Interested in why your better half dislikes Class As? Mine was the other way - no more towables!

Currently we are downsizing from a 2017 43' with 4 slides to 2019 41' with 5 slides 5er. We have much more living space in a 5er. The tall ceilings make it even more livable. We are giving up the 2nd bedroom for a 1/2 bath and front living room. Generally kitchens are bigger in the 5er though we had one with a small kitchen.
OK, I have to go outside to hit the auto-level button. We stop about every 2 1/2 hours no matter what we have anyway. The MH had more bling and more storage. The MH was great for trips of short duration. When south for 3 months or in the mountains for a month the 5er shines. It takes no more time to connect the 5er than it did a toad. Maintenance and insurance is less but cost for us is not a factor. One extra engine, especially diesel, on a large vehicle can often be difficult to find a qualified mechanic with facilities.
Mostly, we just feel it is more like a tiny home than a vehicle to get from place to place. Comfort ~ driving not as much as air ride but as good or better than those without. Choices ~~~ everyone makes them and none are bad.

I wasn't complaining about a C. We loved ours, but It didn't work for how we were using it. And although it's called a "Super C," that Chateau is arguably in a whole other class from any Four Winds model. Same goes for a for a diesel pusher compared to my Hurricane. Same classification...whole different animal.
