2020 windsport 34J check engine

Hello just checking with everyone I have a 2020 windsport 34J with the triton V10 and it has 4000 miles on it now and whenever I fill up with anything less than 91 octane I get a missfire code popped up. It goes away if I put 91 in it again but that seems a little excessive to me. Is this a normal occurrence or is the tuning off on my rv?

Not normal. Find a Ford service center that will service the coach under the Ford warranty.

Agree that it’s not normal. Should run fine on 87 octane. Find a Ford truck center and take it there with the 87 octane in the tank and the diagnostic code set. Should be a simple warranty issue.

Pete Im planning on taking it in soon when I get time from work problem is I have half a tank of 91 in it right now so I dont know what to do with 40 gallons of 91 Im just gonna take it with what it has and let them know when I go in and see what they say..the code it still on the ecu as the light hasnt gone away since last time it came on when the motor was running but completely stopped making power until I restarted it.

Good luck. I’ll be interested in hearing the outcome,
