Just coming off a 6000 mile month long cross country trip with our ace 30.1. Unit has performed extremely well. The only small problem we did encounter was the metal tab that the rear window safety latch clamps onto broke off. Zip ties to the rescue until wide get it replaced. That's it.

My 29.3 (2017) for the most part has had no problems, knock on wood. Yes I am sure there are better units out there, but for a lot higher price point. The Ace 29.3 for two people is a good fit. I down sized from a 35 ft 5th wheel with 3 slides.
The few items that we fixed were the trim around the bad sink came loose. A few paneling nails solved that problem. The third hot water shut off valve is behind a piece of paneling, this is a project for me to make a door to get to the valve. These and more could and will happen no matter whos coach you get. Good luck with your 29.3 purchas

We bought a 2017 29.3 last year and have been generally pleased with it. There have been a few little things that needed fixing, but nothing major.
For the little things, let the dealer order the parts and get an appointment to get that stuff fixed. I see some say they have spent more time in the shop that using it. But if the items are a small inconvenience and truly will not be a problem, don't let the coach sit at the dealer. Use it!
One example, was our furnace had an issue. We took delivery in July and went to norther WI for a week. Sure, there was maybe one morning we could have used it to take the edge off, but it did not ruin the trip. Better than parking it for three weeks until the part came in.
We love our 29.3 It is a good rig. Hope you will enjoy one as well.
John

Compared to Class A's in years past..... This has been wonderful. Have we had some issues?, of course. BUT.... It has been taken care of in a timely manner. The only issue that left me stranded was a loose hydraulic line for the jacks came loose after about 2000 miles on the odo. Tighten it up, filled with transmission fluid and back on our way.

Don't let the bad reviews but ya. Every model has some problem. It is a matter of having a competent dealer that can fix things for you when there are problems. Or once you are out of warranty, DIY.

Few minor issues that were addressed by the dealer on our Vegas. Happy enough where are waiting for a new Windsport to come in. If you have a good dealer that's half the battle.

We are now on our second Thor, had zero problems with the first one, only a couple of minor issues with the second. Wouldn't hesitate to buy a third one if needed!

2016 Ace 29.3
We have had ours for over a year with no real issues. The "electric" part of our water heater didn't work but they fixed it. A few finish issues that were fixed. We wish it was about five feet longer but that is a personal preference...One thing I really wish is the drivers seat would move up and down so make sure it is a good fit for you before you buy it. Have fun!
