Leaking egress window

When it rains hard the bottom trough of the egress windows gets water in it. Any ideas

How old is the coach?

I’ll bet the window is loose in the frame. Over the years the tension of the plastic guides loosens up and the window doesn’t fit snug. So when water hits the window it trickles down into the trough.

If it rains really hard, or the water directly hits the window when your washing the RV, the weep holes can’t keep up, and the water will spill into the coach.

Wedge something between the window and the inside of the frame so that the window presses hard up against the metal window frame. I’ll bet it stops leaking.

We have the exact same issue on our 2016 24.1 vegas. Was going to look more closely this weekend. I'll let you know what we find with ours.

Hi, I had the same problem. Seemed one of the screws on the molding was preventing a full seal. Dealership fixed along with few other issues.
Could have done it myself if I had a spotter to catch the window as I opened it from inside RV ;-)

Took a lot longer to reply than I thought. Sorry. Bought some marine weather seal, matched what was there already, put it in, added some caulk and no more leaks.
