A cheap $5 fix to save accidentally blowing another fuse or damaging the LED lights.
Thanks to all that led me in the right direction.
Nice! Thanks for the info!!!

Update to Indicator Rocker switch

When you install the new switch there are THREE terminals and the original switch had two. You must ground the new switch to provide maximum light from the LEDs outside. It's easy to do. When you wire the switch there are the three terminals. A silver, another silver and a gold/ brass color. Purple goes to first silver, red from fuse to second silver ( middle terminal) and a ground wire on the gold/brass. I pulled out the switch gang below that has the Battery USE/ STORE switch. There you will find a WHITE wire ( ground). Simply run a wire from the gold/ brass terminal of the new switch down the inside and fish it through the hole and splice into the White wire on the Battery USE switch. You are now grounded and lights work perfectly and you have the indicator light when ON. Sounds more complicated than it is...

Try to purchase from vendors that'll be happy to tell you about the origin of their products. Make sure that they'll stand behind them!

My favorite is TricLEDs.
I've got some bad news for you---they ALL come from foreign suppliers and I doubt that anyone will stand behind these foreign suppliers. Unfortunately, this is what is happening to most of the electric products in vehicles (RV's) today. Take a look at the reliability of our Axerra (auful) radios and out Seiki (SUCKY). All of the internal electronic boards are assembled and most part sourced from the Far East!

BUT THEY ARE CHEAP!

The awning lights stopped working. I saw that there is a fuse behind the switch. How do you get the cover off the switch to change the fuse?

Switch cover

Just slip a thin knife or a putty knife under the cover and twist gently. The cover snaps off and on. Then you will see two screws to take out and just pull the switch gang out so you can see the back of it.

Angry Carefree LED awning lights

OE 2015 Thor ACE awning lights lasted about 6 months. Then slowly burned out along the rope. Just had awning work done to replace the arms and motors. Awning works fine. Today I tried awning lights. Not working. Checked 2 Amp fuse. It was blown. Replaced it and it blew again. It's been damp and rainy. Where do I check the light connections to the side wall. I see a block of red and black wires just inside the retracted forward arm. Thoughts on drying that area with canned air and weatherproofing. Looking also for the light replacement wiring diagram.

Found led power supply wires from the switch were pinched at the exit hole at top of wall. Shorted and blown fuses explained. This attempted fix is dead. Looking at alternatives.
