The first of many?????
Just drove my new Axis home and now I'm already lost!
I'm not plugged into shore power and none of my outlets are working! What am I doing wrong?
Should the battery be switched to use or store or what???
(Yes they explained it but I'm drawing a blank)

Slow down, take a breath. Your statement is consistent:

Ok you have no power coming in, is the generator running?

If you have no power going into the coach I would expect that the outlets aren't working?! (Assuming you are talking about the 120V outlets)
Store/Use controls the connection to the house battery. In store mode most of everything is disconnected (not all) and it won't charge when plugged in. In Use mode the house battery is powering the 12V house electronics (radio, refer, etc.). When plugged in and in Use mode the house battery will charge (in Store mode the house battery will NOT charge).

Your outlets won't work unless you are plugged in to 120v or the generator is running. If you plug in to your house you will need a heavy duty extension cord and a dogbone adapter to convert from 30 amp to 15 amp, you will NOT be able to run the AC. Put the battery switch in the USE position to keep your batteries charged.
There is a learning curve we have ALL gone thru and if you don't know it's ok, ask and someone will be glad to help you!

It's just not newbies. I've been doing this all my life and had to call the dealer when I got home this week to find out why everything 12v was dead. They forgot to tell me about the use/store switch and they switched it to store before pulling it around front for me to drive home. I was baffled!

Are there 12v outlets? Are just 110v outlets?
I'm not running the generator, I thought I would be able to use some outlets without the generator! Am I wrong again?
What about the fans on the vents? Will they work without the generator?

All the standard outlets where you plug stuff into are 120V which need either shore power or the generator.
The vents are 12V and should run when in "Use".
If you have any 12V outlets they will be cigarette lighter plugs (we have one in the dash).

Question I have been meaning to investigate, but maybe someone else already has. The two USB outlets in the bedroom area, are they powered by 12v or 120v?

Someone else will have to answer that since we don't have any USB ports in the back (very early Axis without all that fancy stuff in the back bedroom LOL).

Mo, the USB outlets are run from twelve volts and are pretty handy. Wish they had put USB outlets on each side of the bed.

We use our charging station while driving down the road all the time..sure beats plugging into a cigarette lighter !
By the way....your refrigerator, also, has a switch for when you are on the road and when hooked up to shore power.. some are automatic and some are not.
Remember, if your GFI is popped it can affect your electrical situation... on our 24.1 it is in the bathroom.

Third RV and when I left the CW after some minor repair and the safe-t-plus install...nothing electrical worked had to turn around after a few miles down the road. They forgot to tell me that they put it in STORE killing the electical. I am always check it as its next to the awning switch. I've hit it by accident and didn't know it a few times

THANK YOU! I was hoping that was the case. I kept forgetting to take anything USB powered to the coach to verify.

sforl -- Here is a link to the Axis/Vegas Owners' Manual I compiled. It contains information that Thor did not include in their generic manual. It will certainly help you get to know your Axis much better. If you use the menu link on the link I sent you, you can download the manual as a pdf (otherwise if you just hit download you"ll get a MS Word copy.
