Leveling a Vegas 24.1

I recently had my first camping experience with my new Vegas, which is an upgrade from my Spree Escape trailer. My site had a rating of "moderate" grade.
All I had with me were a few 2x4s and a package of 10 Camco leveling blocks, which I used with little problems when camping with my Spree. The site slanted to the left as well as being slightly down hill. I used everything I had, but still could not level my camper. Left to right was fine, but I could not make up the down hill difference for a good level, because I did not have anything else to use. In order to avoid this from happening again, what do most people use to level their RVs, and do both rear tires, on side that needs lifting, have to have leveling blocks, or just the outside tire?

As long as it didn't end up looking like this: I'd say that you're okay!

But to answer your question: I've got a Lippert Leveling system underneath mine...

I have 3 packages of the 10 leveling blocks (Amazon) (in my case the Lynx levelers) in addition I have a package of the "double wide" leveling blocks (Amazon) for the rears. All of these fit in the passenger side front outside storage bin. I have yet to encounter a grade I cannot level

In addition I installed a level-mate-pro in the RV and can use that live while scooting about a campsite to find the most level spot to park.

After blocking and leveling I also have some scissor jacks I drop down to stabilize the coach from rocking too much.

In most cases I always have to use blocks: Even at a perfectly level site the Axis will sit about 1" nose low.

I have a 2018 THOR Siesta 24SS and have an appointment this Monday to have the Equalizer hydraulic system installed at a local family owned/operated RV shop in Fontana, CA. I look forward to having it on my coach.

I use the yellow leveling ramps on front wheels. Is cheap and easy to use. I also use them when changing oil.

Will try to attach pic at Fort Wilderness. If pad off left to right, can stagger to make up difference.

I installed the Bullseye leveling system on our Axis.. works great all electric no hydraulics, get to keep our limited storage space.. also folds up so with the low frame clearance I don’t worry about dragging the jacks on the ground.. very pleased.

Thank you to all who have responded. I don't think I will be putting in a leveling system. My camper is only 25 feet, so I have not experienced any stability problems, and after shelling out the cost of the camper and the tow dolly, I'd like to keep the cost down.

Is this something you installed yourself or had a shop do it?

I think the leveling ramps are from Walmart, Camco brand $15 or $16 each. I keep them under couch in Vegas. I also use them when changing oil.

You can sometimes get pretty close to that: for sure!

I put hinges on bottom of couch. They fit there easy with paper towel and toilet paper storage. Out of sight unless needed.

Where did you order the system from? Have you been pleased with the company? I have read some unhappy comments elsewhere on the forum about Bullseye. They are older comments, so they may not be valid anymore.

I found this on youtube, is this what you have?

To save "leggo" blocks,You only need to "ramp" the outside dual tire, and have block stack for both tires when parked/stationary.
In other words you have just a stack of Leggo's for the inside dual and the ramped stack for the outside dual tire..

such as this..

The system works great,, and yes I had similar thoughts about the comments that were posted, and will admit I experienced some delays in shipping other then that I’m real pleased with the system.

Looks like an interesting option. And the price is half of my Bigfoot but it included installation.
