Mains water suddenly fillng water hold tank

Thor Ace 29.3. This morning woke up to water flowing from fresh tank. I did not change anything. Anybody with any thought would be most appreciated. Cheers.

If you're hooked up to "City water": the one-way valve has probably just got some gunk in it, and is sticking open... It most likely just needs a good cleaning.

Happened to me about three times. Turn off city water. Run water pump for about 1 or 2 minutes. Turn city water back on, pump off. Empty fresh water tank.

It appears that left over drilling debris (plastic) will get stuck in the check valve and allow water from the city water side backflow through the pump into the fresh water tank.

Thanks all, did a shut off ran the pump and then found the filter was almost completely blocked with white plastic shavings☹️
Seems to be ok now🤞
