Have you noticed that your mice are looking and smelling cleaner?

yep. we use dryer sheets and peppermint balls in all drawers, cabinets and on furniture. Sure smells good when we come back 8 months later.

You're right: the peppermint oil DOES smell nice!
(At least it does to us!)

I gave up on mice repellents. However old fashioned TomCat mouse traps work fine. I usually bait mine with peanut butter. Last month we heard a mouse nibbling on something at night and the next morning found our Oreos had been invaded. We baited a trap with a piece of Oreo and the next morning our little friend was a goner.

This I can confirm works. You don't need much, just a few pellets will do. I try to put out just before dark in any area where activity is noted. The pellets will be gone in the morning if mice are around, and the rodents gone a day or so later. Note: Slugs love the pellets too, and I don't think it affects them.
If you have cats, you prolly don't want to use, as they may catch an infected mouse and get sick. Some people sprinkle all over the place and innocent birds can get sick or die.
I had a neighbor complaining to the whole neighborhood as they say they spent 2 years trying to attract owls and they finally got two. Then one day one had suddenly died. They insisted the owl had eaten a poisoned mouse? He basically went on a one man crusade to ban the killing of any mice or rodents with poison
For now the it is legal and humane; as the city and animal control says it is safe and effective if used per directions.

For the record he also has a glue trap. I have personally never caught a mouse with one but I am sure they work to. I use the glue traps to catch Gecko's. I also caught a snake with one. Granted it was not a 30' Python; but it was a snake that had just given up trying to get free of the glue. Mouse Glue traps are at Wal mart.

Dryer sheets down below in storage compartments while traveling. Once set up in SW Florida during the winter a bag of moth balls under the RV to keep black snakes and other unwanted guests off the site.

This works
I live on a grain farm and the mice are thick around here. This is what we use and it works for us we put it under and in all compartments and drawers. No mice it's kinda expensive but it works!!! It's called ECO-DEFENCE and I got it at Amazon

Mice in bedroom ac ducts
How do mice get into the ac ducts. All they do is chew the styrofoam for some mysterious reason. Any ideas? Traps don’t fit.

Dryer sheets
I put 1 dryer sheet in each camper cabinet. On the floor inside the cabinet is just fine. One under each sink, kitchen and bathroom. One under the jack knife couch. In our house we put one sheet on each shelf in our pantry. There is something in those dryer sheets that mice just don't like. Works great for us. I usually change them once a month. When the motorhome is in storage, (mid November into March) I just double up the sheets and change them in March. I hope this helps.

I use dryer sheets, seems to work. Also use Fresh Cab in outside storage and engine compartment. Had a mouse nest in the engine air cleaner. He has not returned....
