Yep.... I will bit..... I know why. Or is your question th punch line?

Look up the blond TV bombshed "Dagmar" from the 50's. I guess she was before Marilyn Monroe.... otherwise they would be call something else?

On line mentioned "42/23/39" to give you an idea.

It could be a little bit worse.
We're travelling today, just dickin' around.
I bet this guy and us have passed each other 15 times between Prescott and Wickenburg.

The rear-view mirrors make me think that is a Ford prototype.

Not only those, but Chateau and Four Winds 19G floorplans on Ford E-Series also going back at least 10 years. Maybe other floorplans too.

It’s a great way to make a compact Class C without making it too tall. The Ford E-Series Cutaway is only ~ 80 inches tall, but the Mercedes Sprinter 94 inches. Placing a bed over the Mercedes Cutaway either requires a very tall roof or a hump, or else you end up with very little headroom over the bed. I’ve seen some Sprinter over-cab beds that were useless for adults.

By the way, did you guys notice on video how little headroom there was sitting on dinette. The guys’ heads reach the cabinet over the dinette when sitting near slide wall.

Was it just me or did others notice in the video,
Do they seem to spend more time on the Mercedes part of the unit than the Thor Part? If they are using the New Internet,Wifi system "TOGO" why not add a Quality smart tv? No outside entertainment center?

I hope Chance is correct with more floor models.

Cool

Just my two cents - - not impressed.

Maybe I'm a just an old dinosaur, but I simply prefer basically white or tan body with minimal graphics. And living in Florida, I just can't imagine myself having a heat-absorbing black vehicle, RV or otherwise.

Feel free to throw stuff at me. $50 bills preferably.

Makes me think of that video where the class C hits the low hanging bridge. Had to buckle somewhere.

This seems Thor’s take on the new-gen 2020 Winnebago View/Navion.

IMO the ‘Euro-design’ interior is a huge improvement over the fussy mid-50s trim and look of the current offerings from everyone.

Also good to get past the swirling waves outside graphics.

This will seem stupid...
But since I'm the one saying it: you all just knew that it was coming!
This is the first time that I've ever paid attention to those full wall slides...
Since it's on the driver's side (the side with all of the hookups...): how tough is it to set up camp; with the slide having to be left in while you're hooking up to the park's power, sewer, and water?

Or do you just crawl underneath the slide, and try not to hit your head?

On my coach I have 3 slides. There are 2 on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side. We we get to a campground the way we normally do it is we let out the living room slide (passengers side) and bedroom slide (drivers side upper half of the coach). Since the bedroom slide is higher I can hook up electric and cable relatively easy and unless I am totally brain head at the time, without banging my head on the slide.

As for the kitchen slide it is over the compartments that have my fresh water hoses and sewage hoses (separate but next to each other). The wet bay is not under a slide so hookup there is not a problem. After the tubs get put back in storage we extend the kitchen slide.

Now the Challenger is a different beast so I may be lucky in this regard. I imagine on the Delano one would want to hook everything up before extending the slide and then retract the slide before disconnecting everything.

On the Axis/Vegas 24.1 the couch slide is above the sewer access. Its a real pain to get there with the slide out. Thus the preference is to take care of that prior to extending the slide (or put it away/dump after retracting the slide).

I have my couch and refrigerator over the "Stinky Bay"; so that is always put out after I've hooked up to the sewer. The Missus will put it out, while I'm hooking up power, water, and cable TV.
But I couldn't imagine trying to crawl under the slide, for all of the hookups...
...Or to expect the Missus to get the inside of the RV ready; with everything pulled in around her...

My routine is this

Leave slide in

Hook up power so ac can be turned on

Then water/sewer

Then open slide

Maria is used to this routine and just sits in the recliner until I'm done

At 6'4" I have to bend over to get to the sewer when dumping at the site. But having long arms makes it easier

Pretty simple routine that only takes a few minutes

Jerry

.....cut.....
I notice many design details.

There are a lot of compromises associated with slides that rarely come up in discussions, and you mention but one.

Slide in Delano also causes dinette to be elevated off floor, and full wall slide roof support beam at top reduces headroom even more. So you end up with much less sitting headroom. In the video it appears four average adults can’t sit in dinette because the two closest to window wouldn’t fit under cabinets.
