Noisy Water Pump

Drained and refilled the water tank on our Hurricane 27K. Now the water pump is pulsating and the hose from the water tank is vibrating back and forth. Could it be an air bubble in the line? If so, how can I solve this problem?

Try opening a faucet before turning the pump on. Check your pump fittings and see if they're loose. Loosen fitting on output side of pump, have helper turn pump on and off, you might get sprayed a little so have towel handy. Failing those suggestions you may need to buy a new pump or rebuild yours. You may have a valve on input side to draw antifreeze, check it too. Hope this helps/fixes your problem!

Thanks for the help, it all makes sense. I will give this a try.

I had the same problem with my Miramar. It was quiet and ran fine until the end of the season...the last couple of trips we had it out. Then it begin to run in short bursts and the water line would bounce leading from the filter. I finally decided to change the house filter and clean the small filter/screen near the pump and that solved the problem. I think the restriction due to the filters being plugged caused the pump to pulse since it built up pressure too quickly. Hope this helps.
