Electrical ACE 30.2

Hello,
I have a 2018 ACE 30.2. Do I need to have the power switch in on position ( located by the main door) to have electricity on the rig? Example! When the motor is on and the switch is off I can not even used the radio. The only way to used radio is with the main switch on. Is that normal?

Yes, My 30.1 works the same way.

How would I know if my rv have and inverter?

I leave mine on almost all times since I plug it in when in storage. One useful purpose of the switch is to turn it off when pumping fuel or filling propane as it should turn off the pilot lights as well.....then down the road you can get upset about why nothings working....till you remember the switch you turned off getting propane.
