Overall Height of Thor Outlaw 29H

I’m in a wheelchair and can’t measure the overall height of my 2018 toy hauler
Can anyone let me know the height of theirs?

Thor list the height as 10' 10" to the top of the A/C.

Is the A/C the highest point?

I measured mine, and it was eleven feet tall...

Use 12' as a minimum and you'll be fine. Sometimes, repaving or unlevel surfaces can cut back a few inches on posted clearances. Approaching gas pumps on tad of an incline, leveling out next to the pumps, can cause the front edge or rear edge of the MH to be momentarily higher than it really is.

Yup! You'd much rather build yourself some extra clearance; than find yourself one inch short.

not the same rig...but speaking to the accuracy of the published spec numbers.

I measured mine when we first bought it, and it was spot on to as close as I could measure anyway...which was probably within an inch..since I didn't have anything I could pull the AC directly under to measure from

I pulled it up right next to my garage within a foot or so of the gutter, which is a known height above the ground. then using a laser level on top of the AC, which is the highest point on mine, measure how much above the gutter the AC shroud is. I cross checked by measuring as best I could around the curves and shapes, from the ac down to the roof....then over to the side wall, around the rv gutter edge trim and such down to the ground

oh, and yes...always build in more clearance. the only time that number means anything really, is when you are driving on perfectly level surface under a perfectly measured obstruction.

Any out of level situation at all will change it...

I remember seeing a picture once of a 5th wheel firmly wedged under a drive through overhang at a hotel...with the sign stating the height of the obstruction clearly in the photo...which was above the height of the RV. the photo also clearly showed that the canopy was at the crest of an uphill driveway

... all that it takes; is for some re-paving over the existing surface...

Thanks. I haven’t driven a MH for about 20yrs or so. The learning curve is a little bit of an uphill battle when your 60. But overall I love it. I’m getting out and about again.

Just remember...if you hit something, look back to see if parts and pieces are on the ground...if so, pick them up. If no parts and pieces fell off...keep going. You can make repairs at the next campground.
