Hood

Purchased a Thor Axis Friday from Tom Johnson Camping World Marion, NC. They gave us three nights stay in their Campground for purchasing a motorhome from their facility. I took advantage of the offer to find any repairs that may needed to be fixed. I found a few minor things wrong. One of the cap and pins for the "hood" had rusted through and was missing the bracket holding the hood was slightly out of shape. The Camping World mechanic drilled a new hole and placed a real nut and Bolt in in place of the pin and cap. It seems to work fine now.

Marion, NC. Our neck of the woods. Tom Johnson's 3 days in their campgrounds is awesome and gives you time for product scrutiny. Is there a reason you came from FL to NC to buy?

If you have to go to Tom Johnson's Camping World for service good luck. Make an appointment first. I showed up without an appointment after purchasing an Axis and spending three nights in the campground. Before leaving town I figured I would stop in the service department and have two minor issues looked at. I was told I had an assigned advisor so I left a message for her a day earlier and that day when I showed up. I waited almost 2 hours and finally had to call her boss to get her to come see me and she had a real bad attitude. I'm not going to say that her name was Nicki House on this forum.
