Problem with how Rv connects to Chevy starter

Hi, I am a new member and we have a Thor 22E 2014 Motorhome. It has had 2 recalls on the Chevy truck part (2013 Chevy truck express cutaway), the O2 sensors and the transmission had to be reprogrammed. Even though we purchased it in Sept., 2013, it has only about 7000 miles on it. On our most recent trip, suddenly we had this problem:

We had to start it a few times before it would start and the the engine light came on and a message "engine power reduced". It was shaking and rough sounding and had only enough power to reach 25 mph even with the accelerator floored. We were afraid to drive it in this condition (hilly area) so we had it towed to Blade Chevrolet/RV in Mount Vernon, WA. Some type of cable underneath had to be disconnected by the towing company in order to tow it with the rear tires only on the ground. Too tall to go on a flatbed for ferry transport. Blade Chevrolet has not even reconnected the cable (so they can't reproduce the problem as we saw it) but says it is some sort of relay switch that connects the RV to the Chevy that turns on when you turn on the ignition. They say it appears to have been wired incorrectly from the start. They said they spoke to Thor and Thor will not cover it since it is past the one year warranty. Chevy says it is not a Chevy engine/other problem.

What should I do next? Have you heard of this before?

I tend to think it is a Chevy problem I have a Chevy Van in the yard with the same problem. I have a mechanic coming to check on it next week. The rough idle should not have any thing to do with the RV section
