Replacing couch

Has anyone replaced the couch with lounge chairs ? We have a ACE 29.3 . If so , make and model .

Look around many people on here have done this mod to all sorts of Thor motorhomes.

For me I'm currently awaiting the installation of our recliners in our Axis (see http://www.thorforums.com/forums/f27...isnt-9257.html ).

We replaced our jackknife with 2 Thomas Payne recliners and love it.

We have an ace 30.4 and the jack knife sofa may just be big enough for a Hobbit to sleep on. Anyone know of a replacement for the jack knife that make into a longer bed? I'll have to measure the opening and if something is available, reposition the heat ducts since they are cut into the bottom of the couch. Thanks

I am installing Thomas Payne RV Dual chairs . We changed not because of beddng but for comfort . The ducts wont be a problem . just let them lay under the chairs .

It was a job installing it but was worth it .

I'm in the process of installing the Lippert Seismic Theater seating in my Palazzo. The last step is bolting them down, but so far very happy with the look and function (replaced a dilapidated jackknife couch) ...

We have the 29.3 and replaced ours with Rec pro recliners also mounted 42" tv above door. Happy campers! Rec pro price was 799$ and came with center console. I also removed the cup holder shelf for which I will convert it into a passenger shelf for the misses. Still want to add a short piece of wood to trim area that used to exhaust heater.
