Ceramic coatings

I looked around in forum but didn’t see
One on ceramic coatings. Has anyone had this done or even yet done it themselves?

I did the front of my coach with a DIY product and plan to do the rest this spring. It looks great but my coach was brand new and just wanted to get some extra protection on it before we start out on the road. The link below is for a product I used and his website has some great how-to videos. It is a very easy product similar to waxing your vehicle. Hope this helps.

That’s a good sight, thanks. My wife and I usually spend a 3 day weekend waxing and cleaning for the summer and then again in the fall for winter which we enjoy doing together. We were looking for better protection and longer lasting results for our efforts.

When we bought our 37RB a few weeks ago the finance guy was trying to sell us all the extended warranties. One was a ceramic coat protection with a 5yr warranty. They wanted $3500.00!
I'm still laughing about it. He tried to sell us several things, wheel protection, paint then extended warranty for mechanical, etc. "It's only an additional $90/mo on your payment". I asked how much it all came to. $13,000.00!!!!!

We passed on all of them this time around but if you want or need this coverage I believe you can get the whole enchilada for just a few thousands with hard ball negotiation.

Thanks! I started on mine today and did the rear for practice. I am very pleased with the looks. I am going to put a second coat on tomorrow and then do the front. I hope it holds for a year. I used a 3m polish product to prepare the surface but used the Adams prep and ceramic coating. The shine is amazing!

My wife and I washed, detailed thoroughly and applied F11 Top Coat, and it came out great. Was an 11hr job, but shines like a beacon.

That's my White Jeep Compass parked about 20 ft from MH...
