Roadmaster Brakemaster

My Blue Ox breaking system has played out and now I'm looking at a Brakemaster by Roadmaster. It apparently taps into the RV's air brake system. Would this type system work with a 2017 Ace 29.4, and does anyone here have an experience with the Breakmaster? How big a deal is it to install? My toad is a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ.
Thanks!
Moondoggie

No airbrakes on your ACE, just standard hydraulic brakes.

Roadmaster makes an kit for using the brakemaster air brake with hydraulic brakes, just visit their web site for info. I used the brakemaster with both a jeep grand Cherokee and a full size ford pickup and it performed well with both vehicles. it is fairly straight forward to install and easy to set up for towing and remove. It also is truly proportional braking.

Thanks! I had heard good things about Brakemaster from a fellow ACE owner who was camped a couple of sites down when my old blue ox bit the dust. I've been trying to understand how he had done it. He sounded sold on the product and it seems cheap in comparison...

My Brakemaster came with it’s own air compressor that was mounted in one of the compartments in my 2017 Quantum. It’s tapped into the brake system and designed closer to a being true poroportional braking, because the harder the brakes are applied the more air pressure is applied to the cylinder. You should stop by a trusted installer and have him explain it to you. I purchased an invisibrake from a friend to install but now it is sitting in my garage. I will make you a good deal on it.
