Whew! I'm so glad I didn't see this before I bought my new RV. I might not have done it! (Oh Yes I would have). But I have bookmarked this page and when I see a newbie ask should I buy an RV, I can post the link.

Actually really good advice for RV purchasing.

Having purchased 4 now I don't think watching the video would prevent me from purchasing another. Would it have prevented me in the first place? Probably not (I had other family members who owned RVs and boats before I purchased our first one).

Right before I made my most recent RV purchase my lawyer suggested that I form an LLC and purchase the RV under the DBA name. He recommended that I could simply "walk away" if the motorhome's quality was bad.

I didn't do it. It sounded shady. But not after watching that video! It would have been good to fight fire with fire if necessary, so to speak.

But now I do feel quite lucky that my 2014 Hurricane is holding up well, when I hear of all the nightmares that others have had with warranty issues, and most recently taking $20k to $60k hits to "upgrade" to another coach so quickly after their initial purchase.
