Guns are a very political hot topic these days and I don't want to stir the pot, but will say that we did not get to be the greatest country by not having guns.
Also, those who have used a gun to save lives, their own or others, will most likely not freely relate those stories in an open forum.

Very well stated! Accurate and logical and certainly not liberal

On the use of wasp spray. It works very well. My feeling go back to the instructions the first time I went to the firing range for weapons qualification. "If you do something stupid out here and shoot another office, do not wound them. Kill them, it's less paperwork." "Same way with an escape."

My permit is good in 36 states. The 14 that don't want my weapon does not want my money. I'm not missing anything either.

Which 14 are you referring to?
(I agree, and want to plan my trips accordingly! )

For a permit issued in Missouri it is the following states. However, reciprocity does vary depending on the issuing state.
California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington.

NON-RESIDENT PERMITS
Non-resident permits are only available to persons who are on active military duty or veterans that are at least 18 years old and stationed in Missouri. The spouses of active military personnel can also apply for a permit if they are at least 19 years old and reside in the state.
I pasted a link earlier in this thread that answers all or most of the questions that a person would normally have. Click on your state to see what states offer reciprocity, etc.
One of the better states to get a non-resident CCW is Florida.
