2017 models of Axis Vegas

the chassis information is all over the place - listed as E350 in some areas of website and E450 for the same model in others. Anyone know why besides bad technical writting?

Baddad,
The Thor web site shows only one model, the 25.2, as I recall with the E450 chassis. Sounds like Ford is trying to reduce inventory and/or Thor is trying to reduce their costs?

Seems to be some lack of clarity on whether all '17s were on 450's or if they started on 450's and then went back to 350's. I've read that the 24.1's are a mixture of 450 and 350 based on what Ford delivered (someone recently posted that as something a Thor rep stated).

My understanding is that going forward they will be on 450s (at least everything but 24.1's)

I've looked at two '17 25.3's on lots and they were E450's.

When they redid the website, maybe 30 days ago, give or take, they listed all but the 24.1 as E450's. Currently, only the 24.1 shows as an E350

I think I read quite a while ago that Ford had some problem - with emissions certification, I think- on the E-350s and so stopped supplying them for a while. Manufacturers had to use the 450 even where they might normally have used the 350. Apparently Ford is shipping 350s again and they are being used on some of the smaller coaches. My 2017 26HE is on the 450 and while I'm glad it is we have well over a ton of "extra" load capacity even when fully loaded.

https://www.thormotorcoach.com/axis/floor-plans/ Look at this one... Shows only the 25.2 with the E450.

I forgot about that. I noticed that as well. On the specs page they are all 450 but the 24.1

https://www.thormotorcoach.com/axis/specs/

They have other screwups like the 25.3 showing only 4 seat belt positions, but it has a couch with three seat belts, so it's five like the 25.2.

I contacted Thor about current production 25.2 and 25.3 (because I hadn't decided which I was going to get) and was told they were both being produced on E450's.

I was told the 25.2 was on the 450 chassis because of the rear slide.
