The Shakedown Cruise...

After picking up the new rig on March 30th: we've been waiting for this weekend like a couple of eight year-olds waiting for Christmas!
The short story: it drives and handles like a dream...
We averaged over 16.2 mpg with it!
Everything in it worked as it should, and we had ZERO issues!
The bed was super-comfy; all three TVs worked like a charm on the Park cable system; the 'Fridge did it's dead-level best at keeping the drinks cool enough, and the ice solid enough; and we found that we had more than enough storage space inside and outside!

So all in all: it was pretty boring!

Sumo Springs

I changed out to factory bumper stops on my Thor Siesta which is built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis. I installed Sumos on the front and rear. The rear units slide into the factor mounts and the front use one bolt to hold it in place. Very easy job in less than one hour. They are a cheap fix to side sway motion (less than $350.00)I also had a leveling system installed. That was expensive but well worth the money.

Glad your "shakedown" went well...

How does it feel not having your garage with you (like on the outlaw)?

It was odd: not having a bike with me...

... But the bedroom WAS a welcome addition!

Sump Springs: Tiffin bolts them on at the factory.
They really do help with side-to-side swaying: particularly when a big truck is passing you!
