Smile Sink Cover for 2017 24.1 Vegas?

Does anyone know where I can get a "sink cover" that fits a 2017 Vegas 24.1? I'd like to buy one instead of asking our handy neighbor to make us one.

If the 2017 has the round sink as our 2016 does...we went to Home Depot and bought a $5 round of pine...sanded it and sealed it with food grade mineral oil..
It has served us well...you can spend a lot more on a walnut round, etc..but this one, for me...I use it as a cutting block..etc...if I ruin it in a year or two..I will gladly spend another $5 !!

Ron placed rubber stops on underside to prevent it from sliding off the sink.
In addition, we have a large wood cutting board from our previous rv...it is the
exact size of the stove top...has rubber backing...stays on the stove top cover until I am ready to use stove..then I stow it on the floor against the drawers or somewhere convenient.

Nice job vkb, Did you have to cut the round blank to size or was the one you purchased the correct size.

Thank you ! It is the exact size as when we purchased it. Home Depot had a bin of them...picked through them to get the one I wanted...they are not perfect, but, considering the use, it serves the purpose well.
I searched for what I wanted..BB&B, Amazon etc. Everything from $5 (spent on this) to $50. What we like about this..is, it covers the sink to the outer edge and provides that much needed extra counter space.
Sanding was a simple process.
Be sure to get Food Grade Mineral Oil 12 oz $5 at any home improvement center. (I got Cutting Board Oil) to seal it and apply whenever necessary to any and all wood cutting boards.

Well...that's all I have for today ! Have FUN !

We used a full size cutting board - seems to work out well. The cutting board was purchased at amazon and the "legs" are door stops from Lowes. The legs fit snug around the sink and keep it in place on the road.

I had a custom cover made by Zachary Swain at Swain Customs. He does stellar work and made the cover out of endgrain. It will last forever.

Cosmo ! good thinking !! I know it serves you well...those little rubber stoppers do the job, for sure. If I had not found the 'round' I probably would have gotten a cover like what you have...I think it gives your more work surface than the round !! We have a large wood cutting board on top of our stove cover.

Ron measured the inner dimensions of the sink and placed the stops accordingly.

Outside edge of the rubber bumper to opposing outer edge of the bumper is 13 and 7/8 of an inch. I hot glued the bumpers to the blank before screwing them permanently just to check for proper placement. Divide the circle into 4 equal parts and place bumpers at each line.

HA ! you sound like Ron...measure, then re-measure ..
when I want something hung on the wall...he is my go-to guy !
I think the reason I enjoy communicating with everyone on the forum is
that all of you are like Ron...you think, modify, fix and repair...and all
are willing to share with one another !!

sink cover

Cosmo,

How did you secure the door stops for your 18x24 cutting board sink cover?

They were stick-on but I used small stainless screws to make sure they stayed in place.
