Slight Food Accident with Stove

I was heating up a plate of spaghetti and meatballs in the microwave and when I attempted to remove the plate from the microwave it collapsed and spaghetti and meatballs went all over the top of the stove! Is there any way to remove the top of the stove? Because, of course the majority of the spaghetti went underneath the burner! 😭

I have not been able to figure out a way to lift up the top of the stove and I can't get underneath the burner to get out the spaghetti.

You push the inside top black pan back and should release front and lift out.

BLESS YOU!! I didn't know the top of the stove was two separate parts. I thought it was one complete unit. Thank you! The mess is now cleaned up!! 😁👍

The Missus and I were in a Camping World store last weekend, and I saw polymer plate-shaped "things"; that were meant to be placed underneath a paper plate. This would go a long way toward the prevention of a repeat performance...

I was just telling my mom, who came with us on this trip, that I was going to get some pie tins and fit them around the burner to avoid the from happening again. I think the paper plate "cradles?" are a good idea too. I'll have to look into those. Thanks for letting me know. Surely DO NOT want a repeat performance. To make matters even more difficult, our 3-year old granddaughter was visiting and trying to keep an eye on her and clean up that mess.... ugh!!! What a handful!! ha!!

My Missus could barely reach the microwave in our Outlaw...
Our Wayfarer has it under the kitchen counter: MUCH safer!
