South Dakota Full-Timers - Insurance question
We retired a few years ago. We’ve changed our state of residence to South Dakota a little more than a year ago and use a Mail Forwarding service.
We’d been running our insurance through our old sticks-and-bricks state (Minnesota) but we’re informed by our agent that since our Motorhome spends more time out of MN than in the state, that we need to buy Full-Timer type of insurance and they don’t sell that as they are not licensed outside of MN.

We’re curious how others have done this and what is reasonable to pay for our small motorhome (Thor Vegas)?
Any other recommendations would be nice to hear as well...

Before you ask -
Yes we still have the house in MN, but we spend about 5 months using it as “home base” while we sporadically travel during the summer. Think of it as a cottage. We spend the other 7 months on the road and in our trailer in AZ.

Thank you!
