Thor chateau 31w bag underneath hallway drawers on driverside of coach

There is a bag on the drivers side inside the coach across from the head. I would like to know what it is? It is part of the slide out and I can see the outside where the bag is. I have noticed that the floor inside the coach where this bag is when the slide out is retracted creeks and feels soft. Is that possible? Furthermore, the hose that is attached to the bag causes the door to come undone and falls on the floor. I have tried to move the hose but that does not prevent the hose from hitting the door causing the door to open. I am concerned with this opening to the outside where a snake could seek warmth and slither inside throw the opening when the slide is extended. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Any suggestions??
