vegas battery

Does anyone know how to get the dead battery out of 2016 Vegas chassis ?? It seems to be that one has to remove the computer desk area and then saw through the square wood piece over the battery and then try to manover a heavy battery out of the chassis Why is this almost impossible???. Other than removing the passenger side front wheel , is this the only way to get the battery out ?? Stupid , stupid. It is bad enough to attempt to charge the battery. Then you have to figure out a way to put the wood that you sawed back. !!! Surely there has to be a better solution. Any suggestions would be most appreciated ! Thanks

Yes, that is how you do it. The wood is perforated for easy removal so you don't have to completely saw the entire rectangle out.

A few have been able to remove it without removing the wheel (turn it all the way to the right). A few have also been able to pull it out the front.

You could always just leave it there and re-route the cables to the passenger front outside storage bay and install a battery there.

Mine was removed by turning wheel to the right w/o removing it and taking the wheel well panel out. Then have someone at the top to hand it off to someone below. Had a repair shop replace it and they said it wasn’t a big problem to change it out.
