I love the one-piece molded body...that's 50% of their advantage. It reminds me of the "Scamp" when it came out...almost bought one years ago just based on the body. The Arriva B is what my friend is looking at. Seems like a extraordinarily built unit compared to today's standards. A bit pricey but easy to see why. She will travel mostly alone with a small lap dog.

A family member picked up a Coachmen Crossfit before this season. Its only just 1 person using it so its perfect for him. I think he camped in it every weekend over the summer but 1 or 2. Just loves it.

I’m not as familiar with Scamp as with Casita fiberglass trailers, which are built in Texas. They are also well built and hold their value quite well, but like most things come with some negatives. They claim to be more aerodynamic, which is believable, but are not particularly light for their size. They also lack being well insulated compared to traditional trailer construction.
Not unlike Airstream trailers and most vans, a major disadvantage is that the rounded shape adds cost and reduces storage space. Casita upper cabinets are tiny— almost useless.
I also notice this on vans, more so with Mercedes Sprinters that have small upper cabinets. ProMaster upper cabinets are usually larger, but not as spacious as what we’d see in a B+ or C.
It’s interesting that Hymer and others have recently been offering in Europe more B+ which are essentially the same size as a van, but everything behind cab is squared off. With exactly the same footprint, the motorhome ends up being much larger and spacious inside.

But no seams or leaks or seal maintenance...I'll trade a little shoe space any day.

Doesn't Thor market that feature as "Flow-Through ventilation"?

It IS a lot better option; than firing up a leaf blower inside!

One class of RV that Erwin Hymer Group will bring to Thor is the very small Class C (or B+) that is missing at Thor and elsewhere in US as far as I know; which may compete effectively with Class B camper vans. As mentioned before, these offer more space in the same footprint than a van, and I’d bet they cost less to manufacture compared to a Class B.
At a lower price something like this could compete with vans. They wouldn’t work for me because of my HOA, but they seem like another option to vans. Maneuverability and parking should be no worse.

What about the Gemini & Compass? They look pretty much like a B+ rig.
Truthfully: I'm not sure where the boundary lines are between a C, and a B+ anyway...

Check out the Winnebago ERA Floorplan 70M on the Sprinter. It has a 52"x72" Murphey Bed in a small slide. It also has a larges bathroom across the back.

Technically, both are Class Cs, and are reported as such for business purposes.
The B+ has more of an aerodynamic small front cap too small for a bed over the cab.

Class C has larger cap usually large enough for a bed. Some manufacturers prefer to install entertainment and or storage in place of a bed.

Originally it was based on chassis (still is)...A's were made from stripped chassis, C's made from Cutaway Medium Duty truck chassis with overhead cap and B's made with a van conversion type platform. Has nothing to do with the "bubble" over the cab. With the introduction of the Super C's with diesel and now the "mega vans" with the Sprinter type larger van platform (B+)...it's becoming a bit more confusing...but...the chassis configuration still dictates what it really is. Some people that buy a bigger Class B want to call it a Class C. That's fine, but it is what it is and they're all good. Any camper is better than a tent.

A little history for context .....
It’s not about size. Mostly anyway — except for a couple of weird cases that are way outside the norm.
An 18’ RAM “van” or 24’ Sprinter “van” are both Class B. It’s the van body, not the size. Neither is ever a B+ as long as the entire body is from an OEM like Ford or Mercedes. A large van is still just a van.
Originally a B+ designation was used when a company made a very small Class C with an aerodynamic front cap, and eliminated the overhead bed in the process. I’m not certain which were first, but they were like the Transvan, Xplorer, etc. Their goal was to split the difference between a B and a C, so they came up with low profile aerodynamic camper you couldn’t always stand in and called them B+.
What’s confusing to some is that manufacturers learned that many buyers wanted larger and larger rigs with the same aerodynamic front cap, so now we have 30’ Class B+ that are far larger than smaller traditional Class Cs, which have the bed over the cab. The B+ term then gets more muddled when applied to a rig like a Super C that has the aero look.
Technically, a B+ is built on a Cutaway chassis and is therefore recognized by the industry as a Class C. Personally, I think the B+ term has outlived its usefulness. The original application no longer exists.
By the way, we’re discussing terms used in United States. In Europe, for instance, they use entirely different nomenclature.

Chance,
So it's the "Bumps up top" that matter...
I can see myself getting into trouble with this description...

See picture below on how it’s often used today. I think it’s stupid, but that’s what marketing guys use to make buyers think a 30-foot motorhome drives like a smaller rig.
This is just one of many references differentiating between B+ and C.

Our first RV was a coachmen prism 24M. The M was for the Murphy bed slide in the living area. They bathroom across the back was huge. Awesome bathroom and shower space. The Murphy bed was a pain in the a** and the main reason we only owned it for 30 days before trading to an Axis.
