Yeah this Thor Forum is the best. We might cry about our RV sometimes but we still love them anyway and we don’t mind helping each other out and getting our hands dirty to fix the problems ourselves and enjoying them.

RV's are defiantly for the do it your selfer. But I think the rewards are worth it.

I belonged to a facebook group called Thor Motorcoach Owners (I think that's what it's called) and had a similar experience getting slammed by multiple people because I gently suggested (and I mean I really chose my words carefully so as not to place blame) that inspections are needed and done for a reason. I didn't wait for them to remove me, I removed myself. The people slamming me were members of that complaints page and pushing people to join. Seriously, they're a miserable bunch. Who needs that kind of negativity in their lives anyway??

I am one thats happy with our four winds 26b, even though it's not perfect. Yes I had problems in the beginning and cussed alot but none that I wasn't able to take care of myself, maybe a couple with the help from the Thor techs. I honestly don't believe that any moterhome or any camper comes off the line perfect they all some bugs even the very very expensive ones. Thor sems to have a bad reputation when you read forums but I've read other manufacturers forums and alot of negative there to.

I, too, offer my thanks to this forum for the way in which members offer advice and share their experiences. It feels sometimes like having gone back to college. I have been able to better understand and resolve so many issues. So, my thanks to all for your good work.

I've owned several RV's in my life and most have been pretty good. This newest one is amazing. Buying an RV means you better know what you're getting into...and you better have a working knowledge of how things operate. Having this forum makes it even better knowing someone somewhere has done that and bought the T-shirt on most every issue. Some of you guys blow me away with your knowledge of the electrical stuff. I'm gonna put her in the wind, have the time of my life and make sure I have internet in case I need to contact my 24/7/365 friends at the forum! Bring it on!! NO FEARS!!

Just a few thoughts ...

I have been RV'ing for almost 20 years, and tent camping before that for 20 years. My Palazzo is my first motorhome, with two 5th wheels and a travel trailer before that. I also worked as a RV tech for a brief period (2 years).

No RV is perfect. read again NO RV is perfect. But if you spent that much money on something and didn't know what you were getting into - you deserve everything you get.

This forum is great for providing advice, and as someone else previously posted, most members have been there, done that, had T-shirts made, and more than willing to offer up some advice (and sometimes a snarky comment but they usually make me chuckle).

Reminds me of the recent headlines about Facebook sharing user's data - and people got pissed off. Hello - you posted something to the internet - did you really think it was private? Apparently the general public has no idea how the internet really works. The whole concept was to create a PUBLIC medium for SHARING. How secure did you really think it was?

So you wanna b#@!% and complain, stay on Facebook. You want real advice and to help others, come here.
