At least you're very honest with your perspective.
But as a business-owner for 41 years: I'd rather see a collaborative; rather than an adversarial relationship between everybody in this dance...

We have replaced couch and had dinette recovered and some padding changed up cost us about $2500 but the old couch sucked we love the motor home so we’re up grading a little at a time if you like ur coach go that route and I’m sure as with a lot of things the more you pay the better the equipment

Well in this case I was asking at.......
What model above the "entry level" Axis - Vegas units does Thor start upgrading the furniture? A.C.E. MAGNITUDE WINDSPORT PALAZZO ARIA?

I do super appreciate your reply! I also have 3 Factory Lippert Recliners still in brand new boxes with electric and USB ports that will fit.

I think I am set on jumping into a new rig and Will Not install them.
post a pic of your setup sometime. Safe travels Rev.

What I did notice is that all of the seats are much wider than they were in our first two class A's (both Fleetwoods). It seems that in the 15 years between our purchases, the manufacturers have started catering more to fit the larger drivers and passengers that it seems some of us have become.
We did this as well as a couple more

Only when getting above 500k list did I find much difference

The Tuscany seats and furniture are middle of the road but OK

Seats

I have a Thor ACE 27.2. The couch is terrible, but because the outside TV is directly in back of the couch, I can’t put recliners in there. Just not enough room. I never watch that tv, but the recliners would be perfect. I bought foldable storage boxes on amazon for foot rests, which work decently. I can’t see, nor have I heard of, any other solutions. I like the layout otherwise.

Kept original furniture for one year. Dealers choice when they order new RV’s. Went to Elkhart furniture company and ordered couch and 2 captains chairs. Have no regrets. Can drive for hours, until bladder gives out.

Out of all those stability upgrades, which ones would you do again? First time rv owner and I always feel like the rv is all over the place. Also, it leans a little to the left.

Front end alignment, Saft-T-Plus & Sumos, I'm on the E450 chassis. Instant difference.

The Outlaw couch is weird. The backrest is so thick that I’ve considered cutting it down by about 1/2. Otherwise it’s not terribly uncomfortable with a few pillows added.

By your explanation, we should customize each unit to what we can afford. I on the other hand hold the manufacturer accountable for what they are selling. Would I have paid for an upgrade to the faux leatherette seats? Definitely if I had know they were so cheap and start cracking, peeling and falling apart.I understand the manufacturer needs to make a profit and as long as they cover themselves by all the safety items, they can put cheap cosmetic material so that it looks good enough to sell. Wish I would have known what I know now when I purchased.

You are going to pay for the upgrades at some time. Either up front at purchase or later on when the stock Items get worn. Personally I would rather do it after I have spent a lot of time in the coach that way if there are changes or improvements to be made it can be done then. If I spend 2k to upgrade the couch when I buy I would feel obligated to use it until it wears out, and I may be less happy.

Change kitchen for recliner

We pulled out the kitchen blanket and table, added custom cabinet and Tomasville power recliners loveseat. Has seatbelts for driving.

I'm sure Thor and all the other manufacturers that used this furniture feel the same way. Do you really think they would have used it if they knew it was inferior? Probably not. If an oil refiner puts out a bad product that toasts thousands of engines, do you think it's the car builders fault...probably not, and it's not their responsibility to make it good either. Hindsight is 20/20. It is what it is and we just have to deal with it and keep on truckin'. In the big picture, it's just a bump on the highway.

I pulled my couch out first thing and replaced with Stressless recliners and love it. Given two virtualy identical MHs side by side, at same price of course would take the comfortable one. Plenty of MHs out there so let the marketplace decide which survives.
