Tiny Micorphone on dash?

Can anyone tell me what the tiny microphone on the dash in front of the drivers set is for? (on our 2017 Vegas 24.1)

That is the mike for the radio's Bluetooth connection to your phone. You can make a call through the radio and talk via the mic and hear your call on the speakers.

Strange. The Bluetooth mic on ours is built into the radio faceplate. Maybe this was an added feature someone else added. (?)
