Tire Minder

We are looking into a digital tire check. Just like in all our cars it would let us know if a tire is low before it goes flat, particularly the inside dual. It was also suggested that installing on our toad would be helpful.
Has anyone had any experience with these, good or bad?
Thanks
We have a 2017 Synergy

Many people here highly recommend a tire monitor. I have an EEZ TPMS and I’m very glad I bought it. Install was a breeze, and the peace of mind is worth the price to me.

It monitors each tire for pressure and temp. You set the parameters and it will alert you if either gets outside those ranges.

We have the TireMinder Bluetooth TPMS and use the display on the iPhone as our monitor. We have 10 sensors (6 for the RV and 4 for the toad) and are happy to have the peace of mind. Every once in a while we get an alarm from a sensor saying it has lost signal but that goes away.

Tire Minder on the mh and Jeep. THey have great customer service also if you every have a problem or just need any question answered.

I started using the Tire Minder on my 5th wheel 6 years ago and transferred it to the mh.

I also have the Tire Minder system and I like it fine. It always has read very consistently with measured pressures. Lately though it has started reading a bit high on all six sensors. It’s a problem because as the tires heat up they are more likely to alert over pressure. The solution is easy enough, just change the set point and remember that when the system reports 87 lbs it really means there’s 82. Cant figure out how all 6 sensors have started reporting high all of a sudden though.

Tire Minder saved my butt on my trip to Alaska. Don't know if they all work the same but Tire Minder does more than just indicate a low tire. It also indicates a sudden change in pressure even if the pressure is within limits. I had an alarm and stopped to check even though it still showed the tire pressure was okay. Had a big bulge on the side of the tire. Had I gone much further it surely would have blown. I have sensors on all 6 tires as well as my boat trailer. I also might mention I've never had an issue getting a signal. Good Luck

Like Mike in AZ, I put an EEZ TPMS in our Axis. Very easy install and works well.

We have had the same TPMS for around 5 years, just keep moving it from one RV to the next. I'm a huge fan of having one and think they are a required safety device, especially when traveling in hot conditions out west.

Just a reminder though if you purchase the system and start screwing the sensors on your toad tires. You should have metal valve stems and not the cheap rubber ones on the wheels/tires where you are using the TPMS.

And, especially if you have to replace the valve stems, consider dually stems. They are long metal stems, rated for TPMS, that put access to both valves on the outside. Very convenient and (in my opinion) much more reliably than extenders. Before I bought them I had a dickens of a time getting the sender on he inside wheel. I too consider TPMS an essential part of my RV kit.
