Tireminder sensor started showing 36 lbs pressure

I have the Tireminder system on our VEGAS and has worked great until today. It shows a low tire notification and 36 lbs of pressure (should be 75). Grabbed the trusty air gauge and shows 72 lbs.

Replaced battery on the sensor, no change. Is it just a bad sensor? Anyone else have issues like this?

Tire pressure

Have you tried switching sensors on two tires and see what happens. That should tell you for sure.

My TireMinders occasionally send crazy signals. But they seem to self correct. It痴 only happened a couple of times and for no apparent reason.

Could be the gasket on that sensor. Switching them is a good idea.

Agree with Jamie, when you change batteries, you should always change the gasket (if you use the Minder battery program they send them to you every year for free.)

Tire pressure

Purchased new tires on my auto last year. Recently auto kept alarming low pressure on RR tire. Kept checking and the tire pressure was ok. After a couple of weeks noticed LF tire was very low. Aired it up and problem solved except a nail was in side wall requiring tire replacement. Tire dealer had to reprogram tire pressure sensor to car computer so it knew where each tire was.

A low pressure warning in my case was correct, just not the right tire location.

Yeah swapped the sensor with the other front sensor and that sensor showed normal. So it is definitely the sensor, just wasn't sure what to do about it

different brand, but I've had luck with similar issues, by removing and replacing the sensor. I think sometimes it just doesn't seat the valve well...

Actually had a "bad" sensor. Removed the sensor from the receiver and couldn't get it to add again.

Had to go to CW and buy a couple to replace the bad one.

Cant say I am impressed with MINDER's customer support as left messages, emails and chat messages. No response.

I知 surprised. I have found their customer support to be not just fine but outstanding. I think you値l change your opinion once you get ahold of them.

I agree. Todd and Marlon, the two i spoke with the most, are great.

When are you calling where they didn't answer??

I've never had a problem reaching them during business hours.

I had an old unit, 400c I believe, that was having problems. They checked it out, replaced a couple sensors, and shipped it back for free. I later upgraded to a tm77. They took my old unit as a trade in and gave me a great deal on the new unit.

True, I did not try their number during business hours. But, was hit by leave chat messages and email messages when I was on their customer support web site, so I assumed I would get some response to those inquiries.

I had read that their support was.really great, so I guess I was surprised I didn't hear back.

So far, their products seem to be really good. Thanks for the feedback.

Was having another problem with my sensors not changing temp while driving. Marlon told me not to tighten them to tight on the valve stem. Hmmm. I always put them on real tight. Was afraid they would fall off. Was told only 1/4-1/2 turn after hearing the air stop while putting them on

Well I readjusted all the sensors on the stems and all read fine now. Marlon was prepared to send me new sensors if this didn't work
