Thor rental for 1 month

Don't know if I’m in the right posting area but here I Am. We are a retired couple with 2 small dogs. We want to rent a motor home. Axis, Ace or Vegas for one month in March or April. My husband is a retired Class A driver so he is an expert driver.

We live in Meridian Idaho. We wouldn’t mind picking up the MH in a neighboring state.

Try outdoorsy.com or rvshare.com I have no personal experience with either, but a friend used one of them to find a coach to rent not far from his home.

Please report back!

Here's a spot worth taking a look at:

I've never rented an RV, but at least this'll give you another place to check out.
Good luck, and happy hunting!

El Monte RV rentals are also a good one. I rented two motor homes from them years ago and they go over every aspect of the motor home with you before you pull out for your adventure. It is a good idea when you are shopping for one to try out several models before buying.

rental motorhomes are few and far in between, especially the names you mentioned - most rentals are Class Cs since they have a more 'normal' cockpit from Ford, so there's little driving 'curve' to learn.

I can't imagine, though, how much you'd have to PAY for a month's usage of a motorhome... I would guess in the $10,000.00 range, and that's certainly not including any fuel, or campground/rv park costs, etc. That's an expensive proposition.

I had a conversation with a rental RV store in Acworth, GA(atlanta) a few years ago - they rented large motorhomes, even some diesels - $3,000 per week minimum, plus insurance.

My Windsport 34J rents for about 5000 a month. You should be able to find what you want via outdoorsy or rvshare.
