...there are some easy and inexpensive 'Power Inverters' on the shelf at W*mt in the tire/battery section.... some you just plug into your existing 12v round plug, or some with more power that attach with alligator style clips directly to your battery(S)...
You simply plug things directly into the power inverter, OR you simply plug an extension cord and run it to whatever you want to power...
take a quick and easy test run with one of these Power Inverters and see how it serves you... maybe $50 or less and you're on your way to powering TVs, DVD player, Satellite receivers, electric fans to keep you cool, etc.
Later, once you've determined what your 'real' needs for an inverter are, you can look at adding a more 'whole house' inverter, which would help power your outlets, and everything plugged into them, including fridge, microwave, etc.
and.... you'll then also want to see if you need to INCREASE your battery storage, othewise having a sizable Inverter will serve you no purpose.
