Planning for next Season...

How many of us have started planning for next year's trips already?
We've already booked a spot at the Lake George RV Park for next Memorial Day weekend, and are currently trying to figure out what to do for July 4th, and for Labor Day as well...

I usually start planning next years trips around Labor day or shortly thereafter.

So far no camping trips but already have plane tickets for our next ballpark visit--only 3 left to go.

I just put our ACE to bed for the winter, so we are done for this year. Weather report is threatening our first freeze overnight next week - but its Colorado and weather forecasts are only good for 4 hours.

We will grab our normal week in Rocky in December as soon as the reservation window opens up for June reservations. May also head back to the Tetons this year too. We also generally stay at Mueller State Park (behind Pikes Peak) at least once a year. However if we go too early half the park is closed off for Elk calving.

I'd like to make a trip up to Banff/Jasper but it may be too long of a trip for DW. She's been having neck problems, but is going in for injections next week. She's had the same sort of issues at the other end of the spine and the injections their have worked well. If she responds to them as well, then I'll be seeing what I can reserve for late summer.

She also has an aunt who is about the same age (her mom had a big family) in Birmingham, AL, so we might make that trip in the spring - lots of places I'd like to stop on the way there and back (not so excited about Birmingham, but we can go through Mississippi so I can rack up my 49th state - then just North Dakota to pick up).

Don’t wait too long! My company “retired” me about 4 years earlier than I’d planned. Retirement funding wasn’t quite what I’d planned but decided to make the best of it. Lost 40 pounds, sold the house, moved into a small condo, bought the RV and I’ve never been happier. And had the displeasure of burying a friend this week who passed a away suddenly at the too young age of 70. Just sayin....

A lot of balls still need to be bouncing in the right direction...

But we're getting closer and closer...
